1st readings

Reading the Vischer was a little tedious for me.  The Mundt was a better read, and it referenced Vischer, elaborating on his ideas (so the Vischer article made better sense) and tying his (Vischer's) theory back to Kant, which is interesting.  I never realized Kant was a backbone to German aesthetics until reading the Mundt article.  I had assumed most had turned onto Nietzsche's theories.
